I had the honor of working on a very exciting project with ECCAR for a digital UNESCO magazine about Colonial Continuities in connection with Climate Change.

First rough sketch

The online masterclass for this digital magazine was focused on its participants – young people aged 16-24. In the magazine there is a collection of contributions from different BIPOC artists. With poems, articles or songs, these artists draw attention to the connection between colonial continuities and climate activism which still exists today. In addition, readers are invited to reflect on themselves and the people around them as well as receiving suggestions on how to solve that problem.

Second sketch with coloring

The European Coalition of Cities against Racism, short ECCAR, is an initiative launched by UNESCO in 2004 to establish a network of cities interested in sharing experiences in order to improve their policies to fight racism, discrimination and xenophobia.
