Josephine Apraku x bli bla blub / Children’s Book Illustration
A story about family, farewell and death.

Yao’s great-grandmother has died, and everyone from all over the world comes together to say goodbye. We experience with Yao how a big family celebrates, eats, cries and laughs together. In this book, my illustrations accentuate an enchanting story by Josephine Apraku about saying goodbye and being sad, about losing and keeping, about missing and remembering.

»A touching and impressive journey that makes you more mindful of various realities of life and in which many children will find themselves. A book that has been missing so far!« – Constanze von Kitzing, children's book author

»With warm-hearted wisdom, Josephine tells a story about death as a transition that is shaped above all by those who live on. Encouraging and comforting at the same time!« – Nora Imlau, family expert and bestselling author
